About Mirius
Skinny guy, hardgainer, asthmatic, short sighted, the sort of guy who’d get sand kicked in his face. Yes, I’ve been there, done that.
When I was a teenager, I’d considered joining the armed forces, but they didn’t take short sighted, asthmatic wimps so I took an alternate path which left me associated with but not a part of them. I’ve dabbled in martial arts but my poor co-ordination, which means I can’t catch a ball or hit one with a bat doomed that somewhat to failure.
But all of these things taught me valuable lessons, lessons which if I’d been good at any of those things I might have missed. There is nothing like having your face ground in your own failure to teach you lessons and as a result I’ve taken things from a wide variety of sources and ended up with my own view.
At my heart, what I excel in is designing efficient systems. When I come across something new, my nature leads me to strip away the fluff and reduce things to their core elements and then to reconfigure that into something new. I find the commonalities from a range of obscure sources and rework them into a newer, stronger and more consistent whole.
So what do I like? I enjoy hard and fast systems. I’m not interested in bulking up for the sake of it, I like systems which develop explosive power, I’m not into beach muscle, more Bruce Lee than Arnold Schwarzenegger.
